Can I use ibindo outside of Austria?
Yes. In addition to the Austrian features, there's a global section for digital guest registration in other countries. We're continuously developing ibindo for additional countries, regions, and languages. The reporting requirements, exports, and interfaces supported depend on your accommodation's location. What is a digital guest sheet?
A digital guest registration form captures your guests' information online and is part of your electronic guest directory. With ibindo, guests can enter their data before arrival. You review the entries and finalize the process. This replaces handwritten guest registration forms with a streamlined digital workflow.
How do my guests get the link?
You'll receive a unique link for each rental property. You can include this link in your booking confirmation or arrival email – even for bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com, or other platforms. Your guests open the link in their browser and fill out the guest registration form.
Do my guests need to install an app?
No. The guest registration form opens directly in the browser. Your guests can fill it out on their smartphone, tablet, or computer. You also manage your properties and guest registration forms via the ibindo web app.
Can I manage multiple properties?
Yes, you can create multiple rental properties on ibindo. A property – also called a listing – represents a physical address. Several apartments with the same address can be combined into one listing according to the model described on the product page.
What do I need to do at the end of the month?
Check your guest registration forms for completeness and accuracy, and then close them. For accommodations in Austria, you can generate the overnight stay statistics for the relevant authority or share them with a municipality that uses ibindo. Available exports and transmission methods depend on your location. More on statistics and local taxes.
What is Mein ibindo?
My ibindo is the personal guest account from version 3.0 onwards. Guests can reuse their profile data for future guest sheets, check their information, and manage their account themselves. Access is via an email code. The guest sheet can still be filled out completely without an account. Get to know my ibindo.
Can ibindo automatically import data from a passport?
Automatic passport recognition is planned as a Smart Check-in feature for version 4.0. Recognized information will be suggested and automatically transferred to the guest registration form. The guest will review, correct, and confirm the information before submitting it. Manual entry will remain possible. To the roadmap.
Where is the guest data stored?
According to ibindo, guest data is stored on servers in the EU. In Austria, electronic guest directories are generally subject to a seven-year retention period; however, other legal obligations may require longer storage. Can I try ibindo for free?
Yes. For up to 3 guest sheets per month, the published price list shows €0 per guest sheet. For 4 to 100 guest sheets, the price is €0.80, and for 101 or more guest sheets, it is €0.50 per guest sheet. Billing is monthly. View all prices.
